In 2016, I made one of the most important decision​s of my life. Having been a master braider in a traditional stand-alone shop for some years, I started to realize how I could make a difference.

I wanted freedom and I wanted my customers to have salon-quality experiences in the comfort of their own homes. Before it was a thing, I became a mobile natural stylist. And through that experience, I developed deeper relationships with my clients. I listened to their experiences and began developing solutions to common challenges.

Women loved natural styles but were experiencing hair loss due to excessive stress on their scalps. Families wanted their young children in protective styles but did not want to them in a salon chair for hours on end. And many of my clients did not have access to natural hair care products that complimented their unique hair type.

I set out to do 4 things: 1) Provide natural styling services in client's own home, 2) Perfect my braiding practices to provide safe, comfortable styles in less time, 3) Create natural hair and body oils that promoted hair, skin, and nail health and growth, 4) And finally, provide training and coaching to stylists wanting to expand and improve their practice.
